The MediaMotion Ball is the longest running all volunteer and not for profit event for production professionals each year at NAB. First held in 1998, the MMB has grown to be the one dinner you 'need' and 'want' to be at during NAB.

Last years MediaMotion Ball was our biggest ever (over 400 people). The industry's finest gathered at a relaxed event that provided the opportunity you time to meet and talk with the 'who's who' of the video production, motion graphics, colorist and 3D fields.

This years MMB featured an amazing keynote from new After Effects Product Manager, Victoria Nece.

Victoria Nece is the new product manager for Adobe After Effects, which she’s been using since she was a teenager. Before joining Adobe, she was a motion designer for documentaries for over a decade, as well as a developer of scripts and extensions for After Effects. Victoria’s graphics have appeared in multiple FRONTLINE episodes including Inside Assad’s Syria and Climate of Doubt. As Director of Animation at the Documentary Group (successor to Peter Jennings Productions) she oversaw graphics, animation, and design for dozens of productions across broadcast, theatrical and educational markets. As a developer, Victoria has consulted on broadcast automation, developed tools for motion capture animation, and created commercial scripts that have caused users to swear with joy on Twitter.

Victoria has recently relocated to Seattle from NYC. She’s looking forward to exploring her new home, but can’t seem to find the subway entrances.

"I am tremendously excited to have Victoria present this year” said Carey Dissmore, IMUG Founder. “Victoria comes from a really rich and diverse background, major production credentials with FRONTLINE, and adds to it prior experience developing for After Effects, an application that impacts the career of most everyone in the MMB community, and for many is an essential tool in their livelihood. This is a fun and fantastic opportunity for us to hear from, and get to know Victoria better in her new role”
